In love with work

We need work in our life. I mean we really need it. We need something to do because this is the only way for us to feel that we worth something and there is a reason for us to be here in this world. Though, sometimes we fall to deep in love with work we have. It is great if a person like his or her job because it is satisfaction the main income of job people have. In case people are not satisfied with their job they will soon run mad. And those are happy who managed to find just the job they like and that bring them enough money. Though, they should be careful in order not to get possessed with this job. When people fall in love with work they have they lose everything else in their lives. They have no time for people next to them and they have no time for their lives. They are working only and they do nothing but their job. Sooner or later they will see the mistakes they have made but as a rule it is always too late and life is over and there is nothing left except the job. They are workaholics and they are lonely people.

Working day

It usually starts only in the morning and for somehow it happened that it usually starts in the very second you see the sweetest dream you have ever seen. Though, the working day starts and you have to forget about that dream and remember about your morning shower and coffee and your job. You feel like sleeping but you have to get dressed and prepared for your work because there are people waiting for you and they need you to do your job. And this is a reason for you to forget about your desire and have your coffee and go to your work. As a rule you feel you will be late today and while rushing to your work you are thinking about a reason for why you are late today. You need this reason because your boss will ask you about it for sure; because it is a third day you are late for your job. Then you are seating there doing your job and thinking about that beautiful dream and waiting till this day is over. And when it is over you run home tired and hopping that dream will come back for you, but when it comes another working day starts.

Should Work Be Fun?

As children, we are told to follow our dreams, but as adults we usually find work life to be dull, exhausting, and frustrating. Work becomes the tedious requirement blocking us from having fun. Sometimes we try to have too much fun on weekends to make up for the horror of the work week.

Is this how it should be, or is there something wrong? Is life and work a time to realize your dreams, or is all the world a time of toil and hardship? Considering we have things pretty easy these days, we complain quite a lot about having to work. Work in itself might not generally be considered to be fun, but can be rewarding. Work should bring a sense of accomplishment, a sense of pride. For those who push papers or click the mouse all day, this feeling of accomplishment may be hard to achieve. Have we contributed somehow to the world through our work?

Finding joy in work may seem difficult, but is not impossible. It’s best to go into a field of work that you can be proud of, though of course that’s not always possible. At times, we end up stuck doing things we don’t think too much of. There can still be a bright side. Thinking about your co-workers and feeling a sense of personal responsibility towards the work community can bring value to your work. Even if you don’t help the world, there are people who depend on you. While it might not make work fun, it can make it easier to get up in the morning.

It is time to work

There is a definite time for work and a most definite time for play. Most people do not make enough time for play in between their busy work schedule and their family obligations. Work is the heart of the American dollar and we all need to work hard for our money. But when life becomes all work and no play, life also becomes rather routine and monotonous. Making time in your work schedule to embrace a little fun can accelerate your ability to perform well regardless of what you do for a living. In today’s economy, too many people are afraid to take time off from work for play because they feel they need to show up appreciating their job. It’s as though many people believe they can keep themselves from being laid off from work in today’s market by showing up early, staying later, and working harder than ever for the same pay.

Most companies don’t operate like that. Many companies simply cut the last hired in order to keep things simple. Other companies eliminate positions so that they don’t have to consider the people they are laying off. Exacerbating your work schedule doesn’t keep you safe in the turbulence of the market and you’re down time and play time suffer needlessly. You are entitled to take the time off that you need in order to find some playtime in your schedule. Work is part of us but it by far does not make us who we are.
